The great artist - Antonio Lopez!

The artwork for the Carasmatic Album front and back covers were designed by the great Antonio Lopez, who was a Puerto Rican American illustrator, portrait artist and 1970’s fashion icon.

He discovered Jessica Lange, Jerry Hall and Grace Jones – just to name a few.

HBO did a terrific documentary special on Antonio called Sex, Fashion & Disco, if any of you want to check it out, but you should definitely Google him.

He passed away of AIDS in 1987 so, I was one of the last people he drew.
